So I thought I could decorate....

It has been almost two years since I started Sweet Whimsy Cakes here in Arizona. I wanted something that I could do for me. You see I had spent over seven years as a stay at home mom. I love my girls and love all their activities. My husband worked very hard and I just felt like I wasn’t fulfilling what I expected out of me. I wanted to do something I was good at other than kissing boo boos. So I had a grand idea I knew I could bake so why couldn’t I decorate. Well the first few cakes didn’t go so well but I discovered the more I read and watch tutorials the better I got. I seem to just get better with time. The part I love the most is that I can always learn something new and I get to play with my food!

This cake was the second cake I had ever tried to decorate.
